TAP
Do You Feel The Rhythm? Come Experience Our Upbeat Tap Classes!
Tap is an excellent way for students to express their musical side. Great for kids who feel the beat!
About Tap
Tap is a form of dance that uses the feet as a musical instrument to create different rhythms and sounds. Using tap shoes, students learn various steps that complement the music and add another dynamic to the song’s melody. Tap is an upbeat and challenging form of dance that inspires a deep passion in our students.
At DSi, our Tap students progressively work their way through the Al Gilbert Syllabus, building steps and skills that support students from Junior through Advanced levels of Tap. Our tappers learn creative and advanced rhythms through choreography and perform from the feet up!
