The DSi Story

At just 18 years old, Miss Wendy founded what would become Dance Spectrum Inc.—the beginning of a journey that, for the past 30+ years, has created a second home for countless students and their families.

Since then, we’ve grown into a vibrant community of passionate, dedicated educators who bring their love for dance to students of all ages, interests, and styles. Our success isn’t measured solely by trophies or titles, but by what our dancers learn—about movement, about life, and about themselves—during their time with us.

While not every student pursues a career in dance (though some certainly do!), many remain a cherished part of our DSi family long after their final class. Watching our alumni go on to chase their dreams, wherever they may lead, continues to be one of our greatest joys.

When asked what I do for a living, I always happily answer, “I am a dance teacher”. I did not settle for this job. I did not wake up one day, degree in hand, looking for a business idea that became a dance studio. This is what I have always wanted to do and I am thrilled to be living my dream every day!

Watching my students grow up from their preschool days to graduating from high school, then on to University and beyond, is a gift I am grateful for every time I walk through the doors of the studio.
