The DSi Story

At just 18 years old, Miss Wendy started what is now Dance Spectrum Inc and the journey that would create a second home for so many students and parents over the past 29 years!

We’ve since grown into a family of dedicated and passionate teachers who share their passion and creativity with dancers of all ages, interests and styles. We measure our success by what we have taught our students about dance, about life and the quality of their time spent at DSi.

Most of our students will not go on to become dancers or even dance teachers (though some do!), but many remain a part of our community long after they have graduated from classes with us. We love to watch our Alumni go out into the world and make the most of their dreams!

When you come to DSi, you become a part of our story. We look forward to including you in the next chapter of the DSi story!

DSi is Home

When you take dance classes with DSi, we strive to offer so much more than dance education. Our goal is to inspire students to grow and achieve their own dreams by providing a place to belong. We offer dancers an outlet to express themselves in the studio and an opportunity to connect with a community of friends and mentors they can count on.

Being a part of the DSi community means you have a home away from home. You are always welcomed with open arms to a supportive and safe environment.

When asked what I do for a living, I always happily answer, “I am a dance teacher”. I did not settle for this job. I did not wake up one day, degree in hand, looking for a business idea that became a dance studio. This is what I have always wanted to do and I am thrilled to be living my dream every day!

Watching my students grow up from their preschool days to graduating from high school, then on to University and beyond, is a gift I am grateful for every time I walk through the doors of the studio.
