About Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre is a dance form that combines dancing, singing and acting. This animated and energetic class is Jazz dance based. Students progressively learn routines choreographed by the teacher to compile mini Broadway productions to perform for family during specified viewing weeks. Musical Theatre students dive deep into performance and build theatre skills such as singing, lip-synching, facial expressions and body animation.

Things to Consider
PREREQUISITES:
No previous experience is required for any of our Musical Theatre classes. Classes are determined by age.
MUSICAL THEATRE ATTIRE:
RECITALS:
All Musical Theatre classes participate in our in-studio Winter Presentation Week in January as well as on stage at our Year-End Spring Showcase. This provides multiple performance opportunities that teach dancers how to learn and perform choreography with confidence in front of an audience!
EXAMS:
There are no exams in Musical Theatre.
