Miss Mackenzie Hollinger | Teacher

I am so excited to be back for my second season at DSI! I started dancing when I was 3 years old at a local studio in Calgary until I graduated 15 years later. During these years, I won numerous high score awards while competing and also received two Awards of Excellence at the intermediate and senior levels at my home studio. In 2011, I was the proud recipient of the Tammy-Lynn Powers Tap Memorial Scholarship at the WRDAA competition. I have completed several ISTD ballet exams including Advanced 1 and have been working hard to prepare for my Associate ISTD Ballet exam in November 2018. I completed the ADAPT T.T.S. program in July 2018 and I am certified in both Module 1 & 2 of Acrobatic Art. I am a 2014 graduate of Mount Royal University’s theatre performance program with training in musical theatre, stage combat and clowning, to name a few. Currently, I am in my last semester at Mount Royal University where I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in December 2018.  I absolutely love teaching dance and I am so excited to work with the students from DSI this season.
